What should I wear?
Ladies are welcome to wear sarees, lehengas, or cocktail dresses, — anything festive and comfortable. Gentlemen can wear a kurta, or opt for a suit and tie or a sports coat with slacks.
What will the weather be like?
It's Texas—anything can happen! But historically, November in Red Oak is mild, with average highs in the 70s°F and cooler evenings. We recommend bringing a light jacket just in case.

Please call ahead to check availability. Mention the "Soumya & Vishruth wedding" if asked. This is the only hotel where we'll be providing shuttle service to the venue.
Will transportation be provided?
Yes! We're providing shuttle service to and from The Dallas Oasis exclusively for guests staying at La Quinta Red Oak. If you plan to use the shuttle, be sure to stay at this hotel. Shuttle timing will be shared closer to the wedding date.
What food will be served?
We're excited to serve a spread of traditional South Indian vegetarian cuisine, catered by Simply South. You'll enjoy dishes like idli, vada, sambar, chaat, and more. Don't miss the Make Your Own Dosa Station—customized fresh and crispy just the way you like it. Come hungry!
What happens after the ceremony?
After we say "I do," the bridal party will take photos while guests enjoy cocktail hour with snacks and drinks. Then it's on to dinner and dancing!
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive 60 minutes before the ceremony to allow time for parking and seating. The ceremony will begin promptly, and we'd love to have everyone settled in and ready to go!
Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! Please share any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP, and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Can I bring a guest or my family?
Due to limited space, the wedding is RSVP only. We can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Please RSVP via our website by September 1st, 2025.
What if I can't make it?
You'll be missed! Please RSVP "no" as soon as you know so we can plan accordingly.
